BHIP Ltd comment - If you want to monitor your day to day activity with calories burnt throughout the day, then the new series of ACTIVITY WATCHES from Polar might be just what you are looking for. This is NOT a heart rate monitor. It measures your daily activity based on movement. It will provide the user with a consistent measure of daily activity. All you need to wear is the WATCH, nothing else.
Please note: we do NOT recommend this unit for people who burn most their calories on exercise bikes, elliptical trainers, bicycles or similar - as these methods of exercise do not recruit much arm movement, therefore this watch will not register high activity. They are GREAT for people who primarily RUN / JOG / WALK
